CIVIL SERVICE POSITIONS

POLICE OFFICER
Due to a recent change in hiring procedures, applicants will no longer be required to hold a current TCLEOSE License in order to take the civil servcie examination. Also, upon passing the civil service test, and if a vacancy for a police officer exists, a chosen applicant will be employed by the city to attend a local police academy in order for an applicant to obtain their TCLEOSE License.You can check the City of Brownwood Job Opportunities Page for any current openings for this and all city positions.
